All India Syringe and Needle Manufacturers Association (AISNMA) who is the Nodal Associaton for Syringes Manufacturers of India with 18 members from all geographical corners of the country has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the capacity for Syringes used for Covid-19 vaccination. They have pledged their full support for the vaccination drive nationwide against the novel Coronavirus(COVID-19).
The association has offered an uncommitted capacity of over 350 million syringes per month.
They have also written a letter to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare regarding stockpile and clarity on quantity “We are in touch with MOH&FW to initiate a stockpile and have sought clarity on quantity, timelines, and specifications sought by them so that supplies can match demand,” the letter notes
