The Uttarakhand medical council has suspended the license of a doctor who is a radiologist and was working in a private path lab.The committee of Uttarakhand medical council took action on the basis of a complaint where complainant Pramod Pathak had alleged that his wife Babita was 19 weeks pregnant when they consulted a doctor for an ultrasound and he kept telling them that baby was fine, but after delivery, they got to know that baby’s lips and palate were severed.The child was even unwell. After getting a complaint Uttrakahnd Medical came into action.
The doctor’s registration has been canceled for three months which will come into effect from January 2021.
