UK to start vaccination against COVID-19 next week

Britain has Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine on Wednesday announced about the approval before the approval of the United States and Europe. Britain has become the West’s first country to formally announce the authorization of COVID-19 vaccine.

“This vaccine (Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine) has only been approved because those strict tests have been done and complied with. Everyone can be absolutely confident that no corners whatsoever have been cut.” the statement by UK’s medicine regulator MHRA chief Dr June Raine

“Britain has become first country to get vaccine for COVID-19 and will World gets first vaccine that will start the rollout procedure early next week.” she added

According to the official statement given by the Chief Medical officer of BioNTech said “We’ve regulatory submissions on a rolling basis not only in EU but also in countries like Canada & Australia.We’ve applied at USFDA for emergency use authorization of our vaccine in the US. We’re expecting decisions by mid-December.”
