Maharashtra: Doctor booked for molesting nurse on night duty; no arrest yet

Mumbai: A Nalasopara based doctor has been booked for allegedly molesting a nurse on duty. As per the report, the accused molested a nurse working in his hospital in June.    

In her complaint to the police, the 21-year-old nurse alleged that her supervisor touched her inappropriately while she was on night duty on July 23.   

The victim filed a complaint with the Tulinj police saying that when she objected to his move, the doctor threatened her.    

A case has been registered against the doctor under section 354 for allegedly molesting the nurse while she was on duty. 

In response to the victim’s claim, the accused has told the police that she was caught sleeping on duty and when he confronted her, she accused him of molestation.  

According to the Times of India report, no arrest has been made by the Tulinj police in his case so far.
