According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the National Health Authority (NHA) has developed a public dashboard for real-time information on its flagship initiative, the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM).

The ABDM public dashboard provides a one-stop shop for information on the state’s and UTs’ mission progress. The Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) numbers, Healthcare Professionals Registry (HPR), and Health Facility Registry are all included on the ABDM public dashboard (HFR).

According to the dashboard, as of May 30, 2022, there have been 22.1 crore ABHA (formerly known as health ID) created, over 16.6 thousand healthcare professionals have registered in the HPR, over 69.4 thousand health facilities have registered in the HFR, over 1.8 lakh health records have already been linked by users, and the recently revamped ABHA app has received over 5.1 lakh downloads.

The ABDM public dashboard is easily accessible on the ABDM website, according to the Ministry of Health.

“The dashboard captures data related to the number of ABHA generated, the number of healthcare professionals like doctors, nurses etc. registered, and digital health records linked with ABHA. The dashboard also has granular details in relation to a number of health facilities like hospitals, laboratories etc. registered on a daily basis as well as cumulative till date,” the ministry said.

It goes on to say that partner-specific data from the ABHA generation is developed and connected digital health records are made available in real-time on the dashboard. This information is split down further into many major components that provide updates on the scheme’s development in several areas.

Elaborating on the thought behind the public dashboard, Dr RS Sharma, CEO, NHA said, “ABDM is built on the principles of accessibility, transparency, inclusivity and inter-operability. The ABDM public dashboard puts the updated information related to the scheme in the public domain to ensure all stakeholders have access to the data in a transparent manner. This also gives a clear picture of the progress made by ABDM ecosystem partners since we have included the data related to the number of ABHA created by different partners as well as the number of health records linked platform-wise.”

The ABDM public dashboard displays the total number of ABHA created at the national, state, and UT levels. The statistics are further broken down by gender and age.

The dashboard for the Health Facility Registry displays data in an infographic format based on ownership (government or private), medical systems (Modern Medicine – Allopathy, Ayurveda, Sowa-Rigpa, Physiotherapy, Unani, Dentistry, Siddha, Homeopathy, and so on), and state-level facilities registered under the ABDM.

Similarly, for the HPR, the dashboard offers data segmentation by employment type (government or private sector), medical systems, and the states and UTs from which applications were received.

ABHA number generation is also available through CoWIN, PMJAY, Aarogya Setu, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh, e-Sushrut Railway Hospital, and other major digital health applications.

The ABDM dashboard also shows the performance of each partner as well as the amount of health data linked by each app.
