The National Testing Agency (NTA) has written to the Ministry of Health regarding the dates of NEET 2021, The BDS aspirants are eagerly waiting for the National Testing Agency for the release of the time table for the entrance test. The aspirants are worried about the syllabus and examination pattern this year for the NEET 2021 .The last month NTA which is the exam conducting body for NEET was also planning to conduct NEET exam online mode twice a year.
The NEET , National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is a big competitive that conducted every year for MBBS and BDS courses across the country. This year NEET 2020, 13,66,945 students participated and over 15,97,435 students registered, but 2020 was very stressful for aspirants due to coronavirus pandemic. Many students are tweeting their request to the Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank to announce the date for the medical entrance exam test and hold the Exam twice a year.
An RTI has revealed that the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, (AIIMS) Delhi has spent rupees 71.17 crores on coronavirus treatment-related usage that counts almost 9 months from March 2020 till November.
The New Indian Express reports that the RTI reply regarding the funds given by the centre for #COVID-19 related expense. “At present , the institutes may meet their fund’s requirement from normal budgetary provisions,” the reply given by the administration.The All India institute of medical sciences has also that they spend a huge amount of N95 masks and Oxygen cylinders.
On the amount spent on ventilators the institute has replied no amount has been spent on the purchase of ventilators during the period of March to November 2020.

First indigenous vaccine for Pneumonia launched by Serum Institute of India (SII)
The Serum Institute of India (SII) has announced the launch of India’s first indigenously developed vaccine PNEUMOSIL that has been developed in collaboration among Serum Institute of India Pvt Ltd , PATH and Bill and Melinda Gates foundation.

FORDA writes to National Medical Commission on increase in MBBS fee and Bond for P.G seats
The Federation of residents doctors’ association (FORDA) writes a letter to the National Medical Commission(NMC) regarding the Fee structures and service bonds in medical education by several states.
According to the latest updates by State the government of Haryana has raised fee for MBBS course up to 10 lakh per annum. The Government of Punjab had also hiked fee for MBBS course up to 7.81 lakh per annum.
On the other hand, the Government of Uttar Pradesh has announced Bond of 10 years or in-service candidates for P.G. seats. The penalty for withdrawal would be 1.crore.
“This step will not only discourage aspirants from opting for P.G.seats, in the long run it may pose a risk for further of quality for healthcare force,” says FORDA statement

Nurses at AIIMS call off their strike after a long meeting with AIIMS administration. The AIIMS administration has given an assurance about reaching out at some solution as soon as possible.

The 5000, nurses of All India Institute of medical sciences (AIIMS) have gone for an indefinite strike on Monday for their 23 demands including with those of pending Sixth Central Pay Commission (CPC).
Non-compliance will be treated as an offense says health secretary on nurse union indefinite strike
In an order directed by the Rajesh Bhushan ,Secretary, Ministry of Health that non-compliance will be treated as offense under the Disaster Management Act.
“It’s hereby directed that AlIMS Delhi should ensure that directions of Delhi High Court are strictly complied with without fail & there should be no cessation or disruption of Nursing functions in AllMS nor such an action aided or abetted.”
“Non-compliance will be treated as an offense under the Disaster Management Act read with the Indian Penal Code and action will be taken accordingly against defaulting authorities/employees.” the copy of order states
