Delhi reports 738 more COVID-19 cases, with 5.04 percent positive rate

On Saturday, Delhi reported 738 new COVID-19 cases and one disease-related death.

According to the Delhi Health Department, on Saturday, the positive rate was 5.04 percent. In the past 24 hours, 575 recoveries in total have been reported. In the past 24 hours, 14,629 COVID tests were completed in the nation’s capital, bringing the overall tally to 3,93,98,896.

On Friday, the city recorded 712 new COVID-19 cases, with a 4.47 percent positive rate.

The city’s COVID death toll now stands at 2,26,299 people.

In the nation’s capital, 128 individuals have been admitted to hospitals while as many as 1,623 patients are in home isolation.

In Delhi, 31,296 doses of the COVID vaccination were given in the past 24 hours; 3,631 recipients received the first dosage, 6,753 the second, and 20,912 the precautionary dose.

According to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Saturday, India reported 21,411 new COVID cases in the past 24 hours and a daily case positive rate of 4.46 percent.

1,50,100 instances are now active in the nation, which represents 0.34 percent of all cases.

20,726 COVID patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry. The nation’s overall number of disease-free citizens increased to 4,31,92,379 people. At the moment, the recovery rate is 98.46%.
