Coronavirus updates: In India, there has been an increase of 18,346 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours. The country also lost 263 people, bringing the total death toll to 449,260. So far, India has recorded a total of 33,853,048 corona cases. There were 34 Covid-19 cases reported in Delhi, with no fatalities. Kerala had 12,297 new Covid-19 cases, while Maharashtra had 2,692 new cases.
Seventy percent of India’s adult population has received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, according to Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, as the total number of doses administered across the country surpassed 91 crore.
According to officials, 25 percent of the adult population has been administered both doses.
World coronavirus update: Covid-19 is continuing to spread around the world, with 236,114,110 confirmed cases and 4,821,962 deaths across nearly 200 countries recorded since China reported its first cases in December 2019. The US remains the worst-hit country with 44,654,270 cases, followed by India, Brazil, UK and Russia.
