India records 8,582 new COVID-19 instances in past 24 hours

In the previous 24 hours, India has recorded 8582 new COVID-19 instances.

According to the Union Health Ministry, 8,582 new COVID-19 infections were detected in India in the previous 24 hours.

As infections rise, the country’s active COVID caseload stands at 44,513, accounting for 0.06 percent of all positive cases in India. The daily positive rate is 2.71 percent, with 3,16,179 COVID-19 tests performed in the previous 24 hours. The weekly positive rate was also reported to be 2.02%.
In the previous 24 hours, 4,435 people have recovered from COVID infection.

The ministry also stated that 3,16,179 tests were carried out in the previous 24 hours.

195.07 Bn Covid-19 vaccines administered

195.07 billion vaccine doses have been delivered across India as part of the Nationwide Vaccination Drive.

Earlier on Saturday, a total of 8,329 new Coronavirus cases were recorded in a 24-hour period, bringing the disease’s death toll to 5,24,757.
