Keep checks to avoid black marketing, overcharging of Remdesivir: DCGI to States, UTs

A notice has been released by the Drugs Controller General of India ordering all the States and UTs to perform special surveillance and inquiry to avoid hoarding, black marketing and overcharging for Remdesivir.

In addition to this, the DCGI wrote to all the states and UTs that, “You are requested to instruct your enforcement staff immediately to keep strict and vigil, especially at sensitive places and to take stringent action against hoarding/black marketing/overcharging for Remdesivir, by conducting a special drive of monitoring and investigation, so that any such incidence for the drug is prevented.”
