Delhi BJP spokesperson Anuja Kapur congratulates the nation as COVID-19 vaccination cross 1 billion milestone

Mrs. Anuja Kapur, Delhi BJP spokesperson on Thursday congratulated the nation on crossing the 1 billion mark for Covid 19 vaccination at a felicitation program  for doctors and frontline workers at M2K Victoria Gardens Azadpur, New Delhi.  Anuja Kapur humbly appealed to all the citizens of the nation who are eligible “To get inoculated at the earliest  without delay and be part of this historic journey.”
The nationwide vaccination set about on January 16 with health care workers getting inoculated in the initial stage. The vaccination of frontline workers followed from the 2nd of February. On the 1st of March the next phase commenced of COVID-19 vaccination for citizens over 60 years of age and those aged 45 and above with specified comorbid conditions. The country thereafter launched a vaccination drive for all people aged over 45 years from the 1st of April. The government then took the decision to spread out the vaccination drive by permitting all above 18 to be vaccinated from the 1st of May. 
She further added that “PM Narendra Modi’s strategy and management played a huge part in attaining 1 billion vaccinations and more. I commend the efforts of the central government for working to tackle the pandemic along with the production of ample vaccines not only for the citizens of our nation but also the nations abroad.An incredible feat. After the initial hiccups the momentum picked up only after the central government took charge following dismal effort by the States. Soon in the near future our children will also be permitted to be inoculated once the trials for their vaccine are successful.”

Mr. Sameer Bhati, Director of Star Imaging & Path Lab, also congratulated the country saying, “It is indeed a milestone that we have achieved breaking all the barriers. Amid all the doubts and difficulties, this largest Vaccination Drive was initiated and finally, the History has been created. Gratitude to all the Healthcare workers, Media Persons, Staff of Vaccination Centres, Volunteers and Every Indian for being the Part of this Amazing Victory of Largest Vaccination Drive.  Let’s pledge to take it to the next level and achieve Complete Vaccination in the Country.”
